Join Ban the Ban!
Smokers, non-smokers, business owners or business patrons. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do; we're here to advocate for your right to choose...
But we need to stick together because our strength has to come from our numbers. The anti-smoking, pro-ban crowd claims time and again that the "majority" of people are against smoking and want a total smoking ban... Yet, where are these people? Every single person that I talk to wants the right to choose!
So where is everybody?
So we here at BtBWI have decided that it's time to organize a Coalition of people who are sick of being nannied and bullied and want to keep their right to choose whether or not they smoke, whether or not a bar or tavern will allow smoking and whether or not you will go into a place that does allow smoking.
What does membership get me?
I fight the ban and all I get is this stupid t-shirt? You bet! But membership also gets you peace of mind in knowing that your voice is joining the voices of many others and will be heard on the issues. You are also joining an international community of like-minded people dedicated to the same causes that we are here in Wisconsin.
Membership will also get you:
- A monthly mailed newsletter with news and updates on the issues
- Special access to events
- Get our Press Releases at the same time as the press and get important updates before everybody else does
- Individual membership gets you an exclusive shirt only available to Coalition members as well as exclusive offers as they become available
- If you're a bar or tavern owner, let us know and we'll send you a packet of information regarding the economic effects of smoking bans on your business and to be included in future small business-related updates.
- Corporate members or sponsors get signage and advertising opportunities at events, in newsletters etc.

What does membership get us?
First off, by becoming a member you are telling not only us, but everybody else out there that you care enough to make your voice heard. As we here at BtBWI often say, we work for you, so nothing gets us fired up more than your participation.
It also helps us help you because this stuff is expensive! Printing costs alone are outrageous these days (49 cents a copy for color!), let alone the trips to Madison from up here in the Northwest. The more resources that we have, the more we can do. Not a single red cent goes into our own pockets (we're not like our competition who takes home six or seven-figure salaries) so you know your donations are going 100% into your cause.
